Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to understand project requirements, user needs, and design objectives.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and communicate design ideas to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, incorporating principles of visual design, typography, and layout design.
  • Develop design assets, including icons, graphics, and visual elements, to enhance the look and feel of user interfaces and maintain brand consistency.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback on design concepts to identify usability issues, gather insights, and iterate on design solutions.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design feasibility and implement design specifications accurately and effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI design, and incorporate new tools and techniques into design processes.
  • Provide design guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including developers, QA testers, and product managers, throughout the design and development process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Additional certifications or coursework in UI design are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a UI designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI design projects and processes.
  • Proficiency in UI design tools and software, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of user interface design principles, visual design principles, and design systems.
  • Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Creativity and innovation mindset, with a passion for creating visually appealing and engaging user interfaces that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
