Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to property management, including maintaining records, filing documents, and updating databases.
  • Communicate with tenants to address inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling service appointments, obtaining quotes, and overseeing contractors' work.
  • Conduct property inspections and walkthroughs to assess maintenance needs, identify safety hazards, and ensure compliance with property regulations.
  • Assist with leasing activities, including showing vacant units to prospective tenants, conducting tenant screenings, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Assist with rent collection and accounts receivable activities, including tracking rental payments, issuing rent reminders, and processing late fees.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract prospective tenants and maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Collaborate with the property management team and other departments to ensure smooth operation of properties and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in property management, real estate, or a related field, with knowledge of property management principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members.Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing regulations, and property management best practices.
