Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of operations staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and achieve performance targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including production, logistics, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment of operational activities with business goals and priorities.
  • Analyze operational data and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations and resource allocation.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations and achieve financial targets.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations to maintain product or service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop contingency plans and strategies to mitigate risks and disruptions to operations, such as supply chain disruptions, equipment failures, or workforce shortages.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Operations Professional) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in operations management roles, with a track record of successfully managing operational activities and driving process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of operational best practices, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma), and quality management principles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs and lead teams through periods of change and growth.
