Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist prospective tenants with inquiries about available rental units, rental rates, lease terms, and application procedures.
  • Showcase rental properties to prospective tenants, highlighting features, amenities, and benefits to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct property tours and walk-throughs of available units, answering questions and addressing concerns to help prospective tenants make informed decisions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with prospective tenants to create a positive rental experience and foster long-term resident relationships.
  • Process rental applications, including verifying applicant information, conducting background checks, and reviewing lease agreements in accordance with company policies and fair housing laws.
  • Coordinate lease signings and move-in appointments, ensuring all required paperwork and payments are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with resident retention efforts, including organizing resident events, addressing resident concerns, and fostering a sense of community within the property.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, rental inquiries, and resident communications in the property management system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, or property management roles, with a background in leasing or real estate preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with prospective tenants and build rapport.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple inquiries and appointments effectively.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws, leasing regulations, and property management practices.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and property management software systems.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding tenant expectations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate prospective tenants' schedules and property showing appointments.
